A well planned online postnatal personal training program can help you improve your health and strengthen your body, for both you and your baby.

 

This program is divided into three main phases, and each phase is further divided into stages:

ALL IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN HOME. 

1. REHAB AND RETRAINING (Weeks 0-6) :

The Rehab and Retraining phase focuses on retraining the motor patterns of your core muscles and your ability to properly recruit those muscles.

2. RETURN TO EXERCISE TRAINING (Weeks 7-18) : 

This phase includes progressions to help you safely transition into more intense exercise.

3. BULLETPROOF YOUR BODY (Weeks 19-42) :

 In this phase your workout frequency and intensity increase.

One of the most notable changes that takes place during and following

pregnancy occurs in the abs. As a baby grows, the abdominal wall is forced

to expand, stretching the skin, fascia, and linea alba. It’s believed that most, if not all, women experience some separation of their linea alba during pregnancy. Various exercise modifications throughout this training program may help to reduce the severity of diastasis recti.

 My  online prenatal and postnatal fitness programs incorporate:

  • warm up, 

  • strength training, 

  • glute,breath, core & pelvic work,  

  • exercises helping to reduce the severity of diastasis recti.

  • cardiovascular training,

  • restorative & active recovery.

ALL IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN HOME. 

In addition to a safe, effective exercise program, you will also receive guidance on easing common pregnancy aches and pains, and key foods for a healthy pregnancy and recovery.

I like to use a habit-based approach to behavioural change to help women build the skills they need to eat well for a lifetime.  With
a habit-based approach to healthy living, the focus is on practising one new, manageable habit at a time until it feels natural, and only then adding a new habit to the mix.

It all starts with a video call. The process of building a healthier lifestyle and workout routine begins with a simple email or phone call.

A new program will be designed for you in every phase after pregnancy:

 

  • REHAB AND RETRAINING

    • Stage 1: Weeks 0-2

    • Stage 2: Weeks 3-4

    • Stage 3: Weeks 5-6

  • RETURN TO EXERCISE TRAINING

    • Stage 4: Weeks 7-12

    • Stage 5: Weeks 13-18

  • BULLETPROOF YOUR BODY

    • Stage 6: Weeks 19-26

    • Stage 7: Weeks 27-34

    • Stage 8: 35 Weeks and Beyond

Experience Level

The program is  100% tailored to your needs  &  designed to suit your postpartum phase  and your experience; whether you were exercising before or during  your pregnancy or not 

Available Facilities and Equipment

The program is designed for the equipment that you have on hand. If you don't have access to a commercial gym, I will design your program to suit what is available to you - this may include home workouts with no equipment at all.

Designed to Suit Your Training Availability

Your program will be designed to suit how many days you can commit to training, whether that be as few as 2 days per week or as many as 4-5 days of the week.
